Hi, my name is Levi Johnson, the creator of The Lizard Lounge! Having worked with exotic pets for over 20 years, I’ve picked up a few things along the way. I have worked in reptile expos, stores, pet stores and more in my time.
When I worked in a pet store, I learned so much about the proper feeds, diets and treats for exotic animals. Owning a reptile is not like having a cat or dog - everyone knows what is best to feed them and how to meet their needs.
But, the same cannot be said for reptiles. They have very particular diets, temperaments, behaviors and enclosures. It’s not a one-size-fits-all.
This is what inspired me to start The-Lizard-Lounge.com. I wanted to create a space that offers information about the care of various reptiles and lizards, to help those passionate about these animals learn how to care for them.
