The humidity in your lizards habitat
must be maintained at the levels recommended for your
particular species of lizard. Lizards come from all
over the world. For example, lizards
from a tropical region can't handle humidity levels
of a lizard from a desert ecosystem.
The equipment used to measure and monitor the humidity
levels is called a hygrometer. You
should always have one in your lizards habitat.
If the humidity gets too high, you can lower it by
removing damp objects, bowls of water, or any live plants.
